Community-wide Celebration in Southwest Austin Delights Guests with Grand Opening Event
Austin, TX – Stratus Properties, in partnership with the Austin Chamber of Commerce, kicked off the “official” grand opening of Lantana Place on January 9th with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a community-wide celebration on the grounds of the new southwest Austin development. The mixed-use development is located at 7415 Southwest Parkway. The event featured bites from Carve American Grill, custom craft cocktails from Sourced Craft Cocktails featuring Balcones Distilling and Titos Vodka, coffee from Black Rock Coffee, live music by the Josh Weathers Band, retail activations and giveaways and an interactive Tesla pop-up display.
Representing Stratus in the presentation was Jon Andrus, Vice President of Retail and Chessie Zimmerman, project manager for Lantana Place. Jon was joined by Gary Farmer, President and CEO of Heritage Title and current Chairman of the Chamber’s Opportunity Austin. The ribbon cutting was emceed by Jessica Small, Owner of ATX Shade Co and Chamber Ambassador.

Lantana 20/20 will celebrate the opening of the new mixed-use development

Taking place on Thursday, January 9, 2020, the event called Lantana 20/20 will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from the Austin Chamber of Commerce at 4:30 pm, and will follow with a celebration from 5:00-7:00 pm featuring live music, food and beverage tastings with Lantana Place restaurant partners, retail specials and giveaways from Lantana Place tenants, and more to

Black Rock Coffee Bar Hosts Cars & Coffee Event Alongside Professional Race Car Driver Cindi Lux
Austin, TX – September 29, 2019 – Black Rock Coffee Bar, a Portland, Oregon founded coffee company, will be hosting a Cars & Coffee event at its first ever Texas location on National Coffee Day. Located in the southwest area of Austin at Lantana Place, a new retail center on Southwest Parkway, Black Rock is projected to open its doors to the community in early November.
This special pre-opening Cars & Coffee event featuring professional race car driver, Cindi Lux, will take place on Sunday, September 29 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at 7415 Southwest Pkwy, Austin, TX 78735 with free coffee, energy drinks, and more.
“We are thrilled to have our good friend, Cindi Lux, out here to celebrate National Coffee Day with y’all and to give the community a taste of what Black Rock is all about before we get our doors open.” Jeremy Brand, company Co-founder and Vice President of Operations.
Lux and her team will be present at the Cars & Coffee event with her Trans Am Viper on display for the day to interact with. Lux is looking forward to talking about cars, racing, coffee, and everything in between with the local Austin community.
